Webometrics, ranking universities by cybermetrics

Webometrics.info is special website who rank the university by their cybermetrics. This web motivate institutions and scholars to have a web presence that reflect accurately their activities. On the 16th of April 2009, as part of the opening ceremony for the International Conference on World University Ranking 2009 that took place at the University of Indonesia in Jakarta, the Doctor Honoris Causa award was conferred to the Head of the Cybermetrics Lab, Mr Isidro Aguillo. The Rector of the University of Indonesia, the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia and the Director General of Higher Education, among other personalities, attended the ceremony.
